Fresno Pacific University's new Mennonite Brethren Scholarship will award up to $4,000 per year, up to four academic years, for first-time freshmen and transfer students enrolling in Fall 2022 or later. The scholarship applies to tuition only, not to fees or room and board costs, and will be applied before any institutional need-based aid is awarded.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Students must attend a Mennonite Brethren church and submit an MB Church Membership / Attendance Form to the Student Financial Services (SFS) Office.
- Student must be a first-time freshman or transfer student, enrolled full-time in FPU's traditional undergraduate program (does not apply to graduate or degree completion programs) for Fall 2022 or later.
- The scholarship and any other institutional awards may not exceed the amount of tuition nor financial need and will not be refunded back.
- The scholarship will be applied before any institutional need-based aid is awarded and SFS reserves the right to adjust financial aid per policy.
- Students must notify SFS if they withdraw their membership or quit attendance at an MB church. Any remaining undisbursed funds for the current academic year and future awards will be canceled.
Application Steps
- Apply and be admitted to Fresno Pacific University by the established deadlines.
- Submit an MB Church Membership / Attendance Form to the Student Financial Services (SFS) Office by July 15 for fall or December 1 for Spring.
- Enroll full-time in FPU’s traditional undergraduate program (does not apply to graduate or degree completion programs).
