Overview

As a criminology minor at Fresno Pacific University, you will learn the core ingredients of the American legal and criminal justice systems, and the history and political system which influence them. The criminology minor will help enhance any major you choose by equipping you with the skills in conflict resolution, understandings of justice and analyze information effectively in written and oral forms.

Program Student Learning Outcomes

  1. Students will outline and explain the core ingredients of the American legal and criminal justice systems, and the history and political system which influence them.
  2. Students will critically analyze the intersections between diversity of cultures and individuals, and criminal justice systems.
  3. Students will differentiate and demonstrate the varied forms of conflict resolution and understandings of justice.
  4. Students will be able to analyze information and communicate ideas effectively in both written and oral form.

  • Send official copies of your transcripts to FPU.

Four-Year Graduation Guarantee

Four-year graduation guarantee graphic

Earning a degree in four years allows you to get a head start on achieving your goals of entering the work force or starting graduate school. FPU guarantees graduation within four years in the traditional undergraduate areas of study. We commit to providing the courses, advising, instruction and preparation. If you fulfill your responsibilities and are unable to graduate in four years, you will receive the needed courses the following semester at no cost in tuition or fees.

Based on a student’s academic GPA. Academic GPA’s are calculated by FPU on a weighted, 4.0 scaled and based on core academic classes in grades 10-12. Renewable if a minimum GPA is maintained.
