DESCRIPTION

Fresno Pacific University invites applications for an adjunct faculty position in computer science and software engineering. The position primarily supports traditional undergraduate students; instructional needs range across both upper-division and lower-division courses, serving students in multiple majors.

ROLE

  • Teach undergraduate computer science and software engineering courses. Current needs include:
    • Software Quality Assurance (CSSE 455)
      • 1/13/2025 – 5/9/2025; day and time flexible

QUALIFICATIONS

Required

  • Ph.D. or M.S in computer science, software engineering, or a related field;
  • Ability to work with students, staff and faculty in a collegial environment; 
  • Commitment to the Christian faith and the University’s mission of Christ-centered teaching and learning and involvement in a local church.

Preferred

  • Experience with software QA and software engineering

COMPENSATION

Dependent on qualifications and experience.

  • Master’s rate $23.87 overtime rate   $35.81 
  • PhD rate $28.82 overtime rate   $43.22 
  • Overtime is calculated at time + ½
