Adjunct Faculty in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)

Background

The Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), School Psychology, and Dual School Psychology and School Counseling Master’s programs at Fresno Pacific University offer courses in a Verified Course Sequence overseen by the Association for Behavior Analysis International. Completion of the course sequence meets one of the criteria to sit for the Board Certified Behavior Analysis® (BCBA®) exam. The program also offers remote concentrated supervised fieldwork supervision for students in preparation to sit for the BCBA® exam.

Role #1

Faculty member will:

  • Teach courses as described and assigned
  • Discuss class progress with the ABA program coordinator, including teaching performance through observation
  • Collaborate with other faculty as needed

and/or

Role #2

Faculty member will:

  • Remotely supervise students according to the Behavior Analyst Certification Board® requirements for concentrated supervised fieldwork
  • Discuss supervisee progress with the ABA program coordinator
  • Collaborate with other supervisors as needed

Qualifications

Required

  • Commitment to the Christian faith and the university’s mission of Christ-centered teaching and learning
  • Master’s degree in applied behavior analysis or related field
  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst, Board Certified Behavior Analyst – Doctoral 
  • Experience in:
    • Behavior assessment and programming
    • Leadership in school, clinical, or residential work settings
  • Ability to work with students, staff and faculty in a collegial environment
  • Evidence of involvement in a church or the larger Christian community
  • Ability to teach and work with persons from culturally and ethnically diverse backgrounds
  • Information-oriented computer skills

Compensation

  • Master’s rate $23.87, overtime rate $35.96
  • PhD rate $28.82, overtime rate $43.23
