Background
The Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), School Psychology, and Dual School Psychology and School Counseling Master’s programs at Fresno Pacific University offer courses in a Verified Course Sequence overseen by the Association for Behavior Analysis International. Completion of the course sequence meets one of the criteria to sit for the Board Certified Behavior Analysis® (BCBA®) exam. The program also offers remote concentrated supervised fieldwork supervision for students in preparation to sit for the BCBA® exam.
Role #1
Faculty member will:
- Teach courses as described and assigned
- Discuss class progress with the ABA program coordinator, including teaching performance through observation
- Collaborate with other faculty as needed
and/or
Role #2
Faculty member will:
- Remotely supervise students according to the Behavior Analyst Certification Board® requirements for concentrated supervised fieldwork
- Discuss supervisee progress with the ABA program coordinator
- Collaborate with other supervisors as needed
Qualifications
Required
- Commitment to the Christian faith and the university’s mission of Christ-centered teaching and learning
- Master’s degree in applied behavior analysis or related field
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst, Board Certified Behavior Analyst – Doctoral
- Experience in:
- Behavior assessment and programming
- Leadership in school, clinical, or residential work settings
- Ability to work with students, staff and faculty in a collegial environment
- Evidence of involvement in a church or the larger Christian community
- Ability to teach and work with persons from culturally and ethnically diverse backgrounds
- Information-oriented computer skills
Compensation
- Master’s rate $23.87, overtime rate $35.96
- PhD rate $28.82, overtime rate $43.23
