The Mennonite Brethren Church operates four archival centers in North America. Each of them is responsible for keeping records of permanent value created by specific conferences within that denomination. The work of these centers is coordinated through the Historical Commission of the Mennonite Brethren Church. The four centers and their areas of responsibility are as follows:

Center for Mennonite Brethren Studies (Fresno, California)

• General Conference records
• Pacific District Conference records

Center for Mennonite Brethren Studies (Hillsboro, Kansas)

• United States Conference records
• Southern District Conference records
• Central District Conference records

Centre for Mennonite Brethren Studies (Winnipeg, Manitoba)

• Canadian Conference records
• all Canadian provincial conference records except British Columbia

Mennonite Historical Society of BC (Clearbrook, British Columbia)

• British Columbia Conference records
