Prior to FPU - Marin was a two sport letter winner at Clovis High School earning letters in both track and volleyball... named the Tri-River Athletic Conference volleyball player of the year in 2002 and 2003... earned All-Valley honors the same years... was also a California state qualifier in the long jump and triple jump.

Personal - Marin is the third of Dana and Randy Shillings four children... enjoys reading and scrap-booking... home church is Quail Lake Community Church... liberal studies major and plans a career as an elementary school teacher.

As a freshman (2004) - Marin enjoyed an excellent freshman season... averaged 2.5 kills, 1 digs and 0.82 blocks per game over 129 games... was selected to the All-GSAC team.

As a sophomore (2005) - Marin followed up with a great sophomore year... averaged 3.8 kills, .23 digs and 1 blocks per game over 103 games... was once again selected to the All-GSAC team... also a third team NAIA All-American Middle Blocker.
